After training as a midwife, I studied Art with distinction, in Cobh, Co. Cork, where I’ve lived since, married with my four children. With a lifelong interest in art, I have participated in various art exhibitions over the last few years, including the following: Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Kinsale Arts Week, Cork School of Music, St Stephen’s Green (Dublin), RDS (Dublin), Sirius Arts Centre (Cobh), Courtyard Art Gallery (Midleton), Glucksman Art Gallery, Merrion Square Open Art Gallery (Dublin) & Lavitt Gallery (Cork)
I’ve recently studied Jewellery Design at St John’s College, Cork, and continue to bring my flair for colour & character into my jewellery creations, winning several local and national awards, such as the RDS Craft Awards.
About My Jewellery
Inspired by Cork’s untamed coastline and the beauty, healing and energising properties of gemstones, I handcraft with freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, and sterling silver.
I continually evolve my jewellery design and manufacturing skills, wish to thank you for your interest in my creative work, and invite you to leave any feedback – constructive and emotive.
My greatest creative fulfilment comes from seeing my jewellery being worn or paintings adding character to homes or shops – undoubtedly enhancing the beauty of the beholder!
